Nature's Choice Mr. Wright recognized that nature limits the variety of material, color and texture in all things, thus achieving elegance and simplicity in form and function. Taking nature's lead, Mr. Wright limited the number of basic building materials in each of his designs. SAMARA contains only a three dominant building materials, which are brick, wood and glass. Where the laying of brick is not practical, like the floors, concrete is used. And even though concrete is often enhanced with color and embellished by design, no attempt is ever made to disguise its true nature or integrity. |
