Decorative Copper

SAMARA boasts several other examples of decorative copper designed by Wright. A copper lantern hangs from a tree in the backyard, its patina helped along by Dr. Christian's secret solution. Several lamps light the long driveway, each with a copper shade.

Water sculptures, which stand in as downspouts, also incorporate copper elements. These touches are evidence of Wright's attention to detail and his genius for tying together all the elements at Samara to produce a structure, which, like the copper, only improves with age.
