Drawing and Coloring Our Designs
Pictures of Our Fieldtrip We kept pictures of Dr. Christian in our classroom and of our fieldtrip to remember certain features and characteristics of SAMARA and the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright.
Making Our Drawings The process we used to create the pillow designs is called "Paste Batik". In the classroom, we made full-size drawings from the sketches we made from Nature. As artists, we colored our individual abstractions with crayons and markers for contrast and beauty.
