SAMARA Furniture and Its Use
In A Frank Lloyd Wright Designed Home

Thoughts About FLLW Furniture Designs
Ted and Lynn Osborn

Simple Theme

In the living of SAMARA, Wright decided that simple geometry was best suited to this new, up-to-date 1950s family home.

Cubes, rectangles, squares and triangles offer a simple theme that is both classy and informal. Bright colors further punctuate the strength of the bold, yet simple, geometry. Call it modern.

We're all delighted in seeing the furniture of SAMARA in various arrangements. Imagine trying that in the stuffy spaces of prairieana! Wright would have had a fit with the idea that prairie furniture would ever be moved from the spots in which he placed it.

In SAMARA, depending on the human interaction required, everything can be moved around to suit the occasion, and we think Wright would have loved it. Mrs. Christian always arranged furniture in the house to accommodate her guests in the best fashion possible.
