Getting Re-Aquainted with Mr. Wright

Getting his first peek of SAMARA's interior, John Crowther responds with amazement as he turns in the entry to view the living room. With audible aahs, Mr. Crowther becomes immersed in and stunned by the beauty and splender of this late Usonian design. Dr. Christian shares a photograph of Frank Lloyd Wright with his guest to show the way the famous architect looked in 1950 when he and his wife Kay first met him at Taliesin. Mr. Crowther was delighted and reminded us that as a teenager he met Mr. Wright at the New York Usonian Exhibition House and Pavilion in 1953.
